Day 1: Moscow - Vladimir - Suzdal
9am departure from Moscow to Vladimir by car/bus 09:00 am.
The history of Vladimir goes back over one thousand years. It was founded in the 990's on the banks of the river Klyazma by Prince Vladimir. The rise of Vladimir began under Andrey Bogolubsky, the son of Yuri Dolgoruki who founded Moscow. During your tour of Vladimir you will visit a famous twelfth century cathedral, the Museum of Crystal and varnished miniature and the Golden Gates.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon excursion to Bogolyubovo. This former residence of Andrey Bogolyubski, is located only a few miles from Vladimir. This tour includes an excursion to the Svyato-Bogolyubsky Monastery and Pokrova-na-Nerli Church. The church is renowned as a masterpiece of ancient Russian architecture, dating from 1164. It stands on a small hill among extensive wetland gardens. From here we depart to Suzdal.
Suzdal is considered the most interesting stop within the Golden Ring. More than 100 architectural treasures, dating from different periods of the past millennium are concentrated within Suzdal including the Kremlin, trading rows, several monasteries, many large and small churches, the well known museum-town of wooden architecture, Krestovaya Palata, and much more.

Day 2: Suzdal - Kostroma - Yaroslavl
Highlights today include: -
Suzdal city tour - you will visit the Kremlin, the ancient trading rows and Kresovaya Palata, visit the unique museum of wooden architecture, visit a variety of churches and listen to the bells' concert in Spaso-Efimievsky monastery.
Departure to Kostroma. The town was firstly mentioned in the chronicles in 1237. It was the first stop of Mongol-Tatars on their way to sacking Yaroslavl in 1238. Contemporary Kostroma is a picturesque city with a strong historical atmosphere. .

Departure to Yaroslavl. Though the city is the biggest and most active one on the route, it has conserved a nice style of province life. Yaroslavl has a rich collection of historical and art monuments, it is also known for the wall-paintings in cathedrals and churches.

Day 3: Yaroslavl - Rostov - Moscow
Today visit the famous Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery and the Ilya-Prophet Church followed by lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon departure to Rostov-the-Great.
Rostov is one of the oldest cities on the route, situated by the beautiful Lake Nero. The enormous cathedral of the XVI century and its "metropoly" are considered to be the ancient city center, so called "Rostov Kremlin". Its towers impress by their white-stone architecture. The town is also famous for the "Rostov Finift". Your
Rostov city tour includes a visit to the Kremlin and "Rostov Finift" Museum.
